Textile Division
Situated in Pinetown, KwaZulu-Natal about 20km from Durban, it’s a modern knitting mill manufacturing a wide range of high quality circular knitted fabrics for the fashion, underwear and activewear markets.
The division was established specifically to serve the group’s supply base in respect of raw material for garment manufacture in our clothing division but also diversified its capability and increased its capacity to supply significant volumes of circular knitted fabrics for other, locally-based, third-party apparel manufacturers.
Our range of products include basic single and double jersey fabrics, micro-fibres, modals, cotton elastomeric, melanges, fleeces, ribs, nylon elastomeric and viscose elastomeric products. These are all manufactured in a modern circular knitting plant with a weekly output in excess of 40 tons a week.
All of our fabrics are dyed or printed in our associate company, Dyefin (Pty) Ltd
Clothing Division
The clothing division has been operating since 1936 and since 1951 as a licensee and manufacturer of Jockey branded underwear and sleepwear. We employ over 1200 people and produce in excess of 15 million garments per annum, distributed in domestic, regional, African and European export markets.
