INTRODUCTION

Ninian & Lester's Textile Division, with a respected track record to prove it, is South Africa's market leader in knitted products. This has been formally recognised by the award of the coveted 'Knitter of the Year' title in 1990, 1995, 1996, 1998, 2003 and 2005.

Two production units, Warp Knitting and Circular Knitting, cater for a major portion of the Southern African knitted fabric market. Products include basic single and double jersey fabrics, specialised 'fancy' knits including Tactel ®, Qantrel ®, cotton Lycra ® , melange, fleece, lacoste and rib.

Among Lycras are nylon and cotton products for swimwear, activewear and fashion markets. Curtaining is supplied to home furnishing and industrial markets
